The anchor of Power Talks, an English language political talk show on Nepal Television, Santosh Shah, has been recognized by the New York City based Record-Setter Book of World Records as the ‘Youngest Anchor of an English Political Show’ for anchoring the show at an age of 28.
Besides anchoring Power Talks, Shah is also the founder president of ‘Today’s Youth Asia’, ‘Leadership Academy, and ‘Santosh Shah Foundation’. In October 2011, he was named as one of the world’s ‘Top 99 Under 33 Foreign Policy Leaders’ by Washington, D.C. based ‘Diplomatic Courier’ magazine and ‘Young Professionals in Foreign Policy’. He served as a panelist on the United Nations Youth Advisory Panel (UNYAP) for 2008-2010 and has also received the title ‘Youth Ambassador for Peace’ by Universal Peace Federation.
He is the producer of Youth TV Show, Former Member of CSAG – Civil Society Advisory Group at UN Women Nepal, Former Youth Advisory Panel Member at United Nations and Nepal Director at Nepali Emerging Leaders Program in collaboration with University of San Diego. Shah is currently giving training to several youths on scripting, anchoring a TV show, editing and broadcast.
